Sage Microfinance Bank is a premium, technology-enabled bank starting in Abuja. We're building it for emerging professionals, growth entrepreneurs and micro producers — people whose ambitions are bigger than the banking they've been offered.
What we believe

Most banking frustration lives in the gaps: the transfer that's "pending" without explanation, the fee you didn't see coming, the dead-end error screen. Sage is designed around closing those gaps.
We're digital-first because it's faster and fairer for most customers — but not digital-only. Human help, assisted onboarding and in-person options stay available where risk, regulation or your circumstances call for them.
We're deliberately focused. We'd rather do a short list of things reliably than launch a long list of things badly, and we'll tell you plainly what's available, what's coming and what isn't.
